LC250 wheels, tire size, offset and clearance
Read diameter, width, offset and weight together; a static preview cannot establish rubbing clearance.

Begin with exact dimensions
Record the tire’s full size, load range, service description, listed diameter and weight, plus its approved rim-width range. A nominal 35-inch tire can have a different listed diameter from another 35-inch tire. Match the bead diameter to the wheel and check width compatibility. AT, RT and MT describe tread categories; they are not a guarantee of road noise, snow behavior or fitment.
Understand what moves the tire outward
Wheel width and offset both affect position. For the same wheel width, reducing positive offset moves the wheel outward. A spacer also moves it outward. Tire section width changes how far the sidewall extends beyond the wheel; listed section width depends on the measuring rim and can differ from the mounted result. A poke estimate needs a stated reference wheel/tire setup and a measured flare gap. It is not a measurement of your modified vehicle.
Check the whole steering and suspension envelope
Ask the installer to inspect full steering lock and suspension travel, including mud flaps, fender liners, body mounts and control arms. Lift height alone does not establish clearance at full compression. A brake kit also needs its exact wheel template: minimum wheel diameter cannot prove barrel and spoke clearance. Read each catalog entry’s modification and evidence notes rather than assuming every tire of a nominal size behaves alike.
Resolve the spare and total cost
Choose four or five assemblies deliberately. Check a larger spare against the factory mounting space; a carrier needs its own capacity, mounting and leverage review. Include TPMS, lug hardware, mounting, balancing and any fitment work in the quote. Tire and wheel mass is unsprung weight, and should not be treated as permanent sprung accessory load when choosing constant-load springs.
Use this guidance with product evidence
These are planning explanations, not a Toyota service manual or approval of a particular combination. Product pages link the manufacturer/supplier offers and any verified installation resources, with their exact, component or family scope. Confirm your year, grade, VIN and current instructions with a qualified installer.
