Sell the actual item
Equipment only in this first release. No vehicles, services, weapons, hazardous materials, recalled goods or stolen/counterfeit products. You must own the equipment and have the right to sell it. Use up to five photos of your actual item, not manufacturer stock photography.
Make fitment and condition clear
Give the exact brand, part number, options, age, damage and missing hardware. State the model year/grade it came from, any modifications needed, and what fitment remains unverified. A link to our catalog is a reference, not a compatibility guarantee. Buyers should inspect safety-critical parts with a qualified professional.
Review, then 30 days live
New listings and edited ads go to owner moderation. Review checks listing rules; it does not authenticate the seller or certify the item. Approved ads appear for 30 days. Mark sold or archive promptly. Edit / relist opens a draft and requires review again.
Choose what becomes public
Your chosen seller nickname, asking price, city/state, description, fitment notes and photos are public after approval. Do not post your street address, phone, email, VIN or other private information. Photos are resized in your browser and converted to still WebP without embedded metadata before upload.
Use the private inbox
Signed-in buyers and sellers can message each other here. Check your inbox for replies; this release does not send email notifications. Keep initial conversations on the site. Use Report listing for suspicious or inaccurate ads. The owner handles reports.
Agree on payment and handoff yourself
Config My Rig provides classifieds and introductions. We do not collect payments, hold funds, arrange shipping, offer escrow or provide buyer protection. Confirm ownership, item condition, compatibility and delivery before agreeing to a purchase. Avoid advance payments to unknown sellers; meet in a public place when practical.
Your data
Drafts, archived ads and conversations remain stored until account deletion. Account export includes your listing details and conversations. Deleting your Config My Rig account removes your ads and uploaded photos and removes conversations you participated in for both parties. Other people may retain copies they saved.
